XLK is the SPDR technology sector ETF holding only the S&P 500's info-tech names, and it posted the highest one-year return in this entire batch at 42.5%. Like VGT, its top holdings are Nvidia, Apple, and Microsoft.

It's functionally similar to VGT, but differences in holdings count and weighting methodology account for the return gap (42.5% vs. 38.8%). It's reasonable to hold only one of the two, and investors should always be mindful that pairing either with a broad market fund like VOO can push overall tech exposure much higher than intended.
